The trail...

Very few places will one find and experience so much in such a small area. A scary chain ladder (nothing below you), a narrow gorge, a huge sandstone cave, faint bushman paintings and interesting rock formations are some of the features you will experience.

The several interesting short trails will keep you busy for a the biggest part of a day. All trails start at the holiday resort. This is the ideal spot for an overnight stop-over travelling through the Eastern Free State. The resort consists of chalets, caravan and camping sites, a lapa and a swimming pool.

Deviate from the trail to the chain ladder to visit this interesting rock formation. Climb down through this hole to the other side.

The trail to the chain ladder passes through this huge sandstone overhang.

The tral to the chain ladder follows the river bed through a narrow gorge.

Just empty space below you when you ascend the chain ladder. Quite scary when you are afraid of heights.
