The Hikers...

The Du Preez's from Bloemfontein:
Grobler, Marlene, Nico, Maatje, Ignatius (only 4 yrs old in 1995).

The trail...

Not difficult, but a beautiful trail. About three hours return. The route starts from the Mahai camp. It follows the contour line of the hills past the Mud Slide and then ascends steeply through dense forest to the falls. A swim in the icy cold water is compulsory.
